The Cardiometabolic Health & Visceral Fat Program is a physician-guided approach to improving the health markers that weight alone can't show. Using body composition testing, metabolic labs, cardiovascular assessment, and individualized treatment strategies, we focus on reducing visceral fat, preserving lean muscle, improving insulin sensitivity, and supporting long-term cardiometabolic health.
Because the goal isn't simply to weigh less. It's to become metabolically healthier.
━ where fat is stored matters
Visceral fat is the fat stored deeper within the abdomen around internal organs. Unlike the fat you can see or pinch beneath the skin, visceral fat is more metabolically active and can be associated with changes in insulin sensitivity, inflammation, blood sugar regulation, lipid levels, and cardiovascular health. It can also increase gradually without creating an obvious outward change.
Two people can weigh the same—or even have a similar body size—while having very different amounts of visceral fat, lean muscle, and cardiometabolic risk. Sometimes the first signs are not dramatic. They may show up as small changes in how the body responds over time:
Weight becoming harder to regulate despite consistent effort
Labs are starting to trend in the wrong direction.
Increasing abdominal fat or waist circumference
Blood sugar, insulin, cholesterol, or triglycerides trending in the wrong direction
Losing weight but also losing muscle in the process
Feeling less consistent in energy throughout the day
Seeing changes in body composition that the scale does not fully explain
Having a family history of metabolic or cardiovascular disease
The scale can tell you how much you weigh. It cannot tell you how much visceral fat you carry, how much lean muscle you have, or how well your metabolism is functioning.

━ what we may evaluate

Your starting point matters. Before building a plan, we look at the factors that can influence visceral fat, body composition, metabolic function, and cardiovascular health. The goal is to understand what is actually happening beneath the surface—so your plan can be based on measurable data, not guesswork.
Depending on your needs, the evaluation may look at:

Measures body fat, lean muscle mass, and visceral fat so we can establish a baseline and track meaningful changes over time.

Reviews markers such as glucose, insulin, cholesterol, triglycerides, and other indicators that help us understand how your body is managing energy and metabolic stress.

Helps identify patterns associated with long-term cardiovascular health and where additional support may be appropriate.

Looks beyond total body weight to understand where fat is stored and whether lean muscle is being preserved.

Evaluates factors such as nutrition, activity, sleep, stress, and daily habits that may be influencing metabolic health.
━ Who This Program Is For
The goal isn't simply to make the number on the scale go down. It's to improve the underlying markers that tell us how your body is managing energy, fat, glucose, and cardiovascular health. Depending on your baseline, the program may focus on:

addressing metabolically active fat stored around the abdominal organs

supporting healthier glucose regulation and metabolic response

focusing on what you're losing and gaining, not simply total pounds

tracking measurable indicators associated with long-term cardiovascular health

feeling more secure during exercise, daily activity, coughing, lifting, and other movements

helping the body better regulate and utilize available energy
━ What Treatment May Include
No two metabolic profiles are exactly alike. Your treatment plan is built around what we identify through body composition testing, lab work, cardiovascular markers, lifestyle patterns, and your individual goals. Depending on your needs, your plan may combine nutrition and lifestyle strategy, physician-guided metabolic support, and targeted technologies designed to improve body composition, preserve lean muscle, and support healthier metabolic function over time.
METABOLIC STRATEGY
Supporting Fat Metabolism & Lean Muscle Preservation
When appropriate, physician-guided peptides, supplementation, or other metabolic therapies may be incorporated to support fat metabolism, preserve lean muscle, improve recovery, and address specific metabolic needs identified through testing and ongoing monitoring.
DEXA SCAN & BLOODWORK
Creating a Clear Baseline for Personalized Care
A DEXA scan provides detailed insight into body composition, including total body fat, visceral fat, lean muscle mass, and regional fat distribution. Comprehensive bloodwork may be used to evaluate glucose regulation, insulin sensitivity, lipid levels, hormone balance, inflammation, nutrient status, and other markers relevant to metabolic health. Together, these assessments help identify priorities, guide treatment decisions, and track meaningful changes over time.
BODY COMPOSITION TECHNOLOGY
Improving Insulin Sensitivity & Metabolic Function
Personalized nutrition and lifestyle strategies may be used to improve glucose regulation, support healthier insulin response, reduce metabolic stress, and create more sustainable changes in body composition. Recommendations are based on your baseline data, goals, and the patterns identified during your evaluation.
BODY COMPOSITION TECHNOLOGY
Building Muscle While Supporting Fat Reduction
Emsculpt Neo® combines high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy with radiofrequency to stimulate powerful muscle contractions while also targeting fat. It may be used to support improved muscle development, body composition, and metabolic health as part of a broader treatment plan.
TISSUE & BODY CONTOURING SUPPORT
Supporting Tissue Quality & Body Composition
Exion® may be incorporated when appropriate to support tissue quality, skin firmness, and targeted body contouring goals alongside the metabolic and body composition strategies used throughout the program.
BEHAVIOR & NERVOUS SYSTEM SUPPORT
Supporting Regulation, Motivation & Consistency
When neurological or behavioral factors are contributing to stress, cravings, motivation, or difficulty maintaining healthy routines, ExoMind™ may be considered as part of a broader strategy to support regulation and long-term consistency.
━ How the Program Works
Your care is built around how your pelvic floor is functioning today and what you want to improve. From the initial assessment through ongoing treatment, each step is designed to identify contributing factors, target the right areas, and progressively improve strength, control, and confidence.

Consultation &
Baseline Review
We start with your health history, goals, current concerns, and the metabolic changes you want to address.

Body Composition Assessment
Testing may include DEXA body composition analysis, metabolic lab work, and risk markers to establish a clear baseline.

Personalized Treatment Plan
Using your results, we create a targeted plan designed to reduce visceral fat, preserve lean muscle, improve insulin sensitivity, and support overall cardiometabolic health.

Progress Tracking & Adjustment
Progress is monitored through repeat testing, body composition changes, lab trends, and how you are responding to the plan so treatment can evolve with you.
━ Why This Program Is Different
Improving cardiometabolic health often requires more than addressing one marker, one symptom, or one area of the body at a time.
This program brings evaluation, medical oversight, body composition tracking, lifestyle strategy, and targeted technology into one coordinated approach.
Instead of treating each piece separately, we look at how they interact—then use your progress to guide what comes next.
That means your care can evolve as your body changes, with each part of the plan working toward the same long-term goal: improving metabolic health, body composition, and overall function.

Not in the traditional sense. The program focuses on improving body composition and cardiometabolic health, including visceral fat, lean muscle, insulin sensitivity, and related metabolic markers. Weight loss may occur, but it is not the only measure of progress.
Visceral fat cannot always be judged by appearance or scale weight alone. A DEXA scan can provide a more detailed look at body composition, including visceral fat, total body fat, and lean muscle mass.
No. Treatment is individualized. Your plan may include nutrition and lifestyle support, physician-guided therapies, supplementation, or technologies such as Emsculpt Neo® or Exion® when appropriate, but not every patient needs every option.
That depends on your starting point, goals, and treatment plan. Some changes may occur relatively early, while improvements in body composition and metabolic markers often require consistent effort over several months. Progress is reassessed so the plan can be adjusted over time.
This program is designed for sustainable, long-term metabolic improvement. Most individuals participate for 3–12+ months depending on goals and response.
If you are looking to improve metabolic health, reduce visceral fat, or take a more proactive approach to long-term cardiovascular health, the first step is understanding your current baseline. A consultation helps determine whether this program is the right fit and what next steps may be most appropriate.
